Making episodes these days helps us to not take quarantine too seriously, and to remain positive. This episode we begin by talking about some of the top jobs that are facing extinction due to an increase in automated technologies and other cultural shifts. For this episode of The Fifth Dimension, Jimmy Two Hats and I talk about how this stinking pandemic is effecting, or is it affecting... I never know, the faculties that make us who we enjoy being. This pandemic, which is clearly bringing out lots of emotions from all of us, is entering a type B sort of personality into the fold of humanity. It is one that stays in all day, never fully enjoying the aromas of the out doors, summing up each day with several squirts of hand sanitizer to purify the hands between each wipe of the rear whilst on the john. Seriously, I hope this ends soon. We move on to movie trivia, which Jimmy Two Hats knocks out of the park. I mean c'mon, who actually besides Jimmy Smartso Sits on Google All Day Two Hats would have known that asbestos was used as snow in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as a prop. Finally, I end the episode with a review of Alexander Payne’s Hawaiian feature ‘The Descendants’. We sat down over Zoom for a good long while to chat with my childhood friend Daniel McFarland.  During that time we caught up on matters that happened many years ago on the cold streets of Chicago back when Daniel and I went to the same grade school. Daniel reflected on some of his favorite memories of me, including one where I happen to bring a special gift to one of my favorite teachers, and I told how Daniel was the best person to cheat off of. That's no joke, grade school wouldn't have been so easy without him by my side. After the nostalgia, I ask the gang some inane questions, and we send the episode off into the sunset and in the books as the longest running episode, at just over an hour long (1:02:12).
