The Fighting Moose

In today's story, we look at the reason why "...the power of fine manners is more than that of looks; and that people could not think of [your] mistakes in speaking because they knew [your] kindness of heart." Today's story comes to us again from author, Clara Dillingham Pierson.

In today's story, we look at the reason why it is always a good thing to try to be nice to people and not just do things because "that's just who I am." Also, if you are like me, you try to support local businesses and people. Today's story comes to us from a Michigan author, Clara Dillingham Pierson. She used to live in the town of Stanton, Michigan, which is in the middle of the mitten.

Today's story comes from the book "Hans Andersen's Fairy Tales, First Series." I actually read about this story when I was listening to one of my audiobooks and this fairy tale was referenced. I do think that it is pretty cool how reading one story leads you to another. It has happened multiple times since I started this podcast, hopefully it has happened to you too!
