WE ARE HERE!! This topic is a bit of a trip! We have decided to do Childhood Fever Dreams! Films that we watched when we were young and barely remember the details. This episode’s pick is Caleb’s pick and he picked a truly unwatchable film, "Summer of the Monkeys." haha. We couldn’t find it for rent, buy, or stream. It was only on Youtube in 10 parts with part 4 missing, haha. WELCOME BACK! We’re here not with Jared’s pick for ROM COMS but his wife’s pick! This pick can be described as a CLASSIC rom com from the hay-day of romantic comedies. This film stars legends in Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, directed by Donald Petrie, “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” This film was funny, witty, smart, and iconic. Haha, ANYWAY, this week’s pick is from the early 2000’s and comes from director John Hamburg and is a pick that Caleb guessed last episode, “Along Came Polly.” This is our THIRD Philip Seymour Hoffman film in an many months and we are HERE for it. Hey there Snobbies. Today we have Caleb’s pick for ROMCOM. Jared came in HARD that this is NOT a RomCom. This was heavily debated on this episode as we discussed why the Paul Thomas Anderson Directed film “Punch Drunk Love,” belongs in this category. If a film’s heart is romance and comedy, isn’t it a RomCom? Is it a NeuroDivergentRomCom? Is it just pure chaos energy? What we DO know, is that this is a heck of a film and we were here for it! Eric especially loved any time Philip Seymour Hoffman graces the screen. This episode was a lot of fun, we hope you enjoyed it too.

Snobs. HOLY COW. Or should I say….Holy BEAVERS! WE decided to watch a INSANE film from the creative and genius mind of Mike Cheslik and Ryland Brickson Cole Tews…comes a film unlike anything you have ever seen, and we can confidently say this, “Hundreds of Beavers.” This film is taking a silent film approach with ADR and hyper-toonlike-violence and we are HERE FOR IT! We talk about Beavers, Rabbits, raccoons, trappers, Santa Claus, surviving the winter, genocide, and much much more. With ZERO expectations, we seriously enjoyed watching this film and can’t wait for you to watch it too. You’ll have to rent it, but PLEASE PLEASE rent this film and join us on this journey. Enjoy!
