Tommy announces his retirement from boxing after 23 years in the sport. Having lost at the weekend, he’s decided to call it a day.

During Tommy's career, he picked up 8 national titles from school boy to elite level, numerous nations medals, and a Commonwealth Games gold medal.
As a professional, he picked up the WBC International title and became Ireland’s first black European Champion.
He ends his professional career after having 28 fights. Now Tommy has a new goal: to be Ireland's next top stand-up comedian.
