Monday marks one year since Hamas’s attack on Israel, in which the U.S.-designated terrorist group killed approximately 1,200 people and took 251 hostages, 97 of whomremain captive. The anniversary comes amid weeks of escalating violence in the Middle East as Israel continues to fight Hamas in Gaza while beginning a ground operation in Lebanon against Hezbollah and preparing for a potential war with Iran.
