It takes a certain amount of courage and strength to share the difficult things going on in our lives with others. I found that the more we speak openly and vulnerably, the less isolated we'll feel and the more we'll realize others are going through similar experiences.

Being connected is a major factor in dealing with mental health struggles.

I've become more aware of my own struggles and how I've sheltered my feelings so often and want to help encourage the conversation.

We can be our biggest critic at times and it likely is causing unnecessary anxiety. Sometimes we need a break and it's ok. Be okay with taking a step back to catch your breath. You can pick up where you left off the next day.

Realizing that growth happens when we face challenges and we stick it out.

Typically everything can be scaled down to allow anyone to perform the movement or a variation of that movement.

But what happens when you master that movement....well we can progress or scale up to the next challenge.

I think the danger comes in failing to really lay a good foundation. That comes with working through proper progressions, spending time practicing, and then building capacity.

I want to tell you that it is OK to slowly work your way back up.

You have to realize that you likely will not be performing workouts the way you were prior to Your time off...Be ok with that.

You should be proud of yourself for getting back to it.

Ultimately if you want to see results, if you want your fitness to thrive or you are looking to elevate your game. We need to allow our bodies to fully recover, in order to demand more from it the next day.

We can only expect to get out what we put in. If you are always operating at 60 or 70%, you cannot expect to receive 100% type results.

During the week I feel inspired and encouraged.

I feel proud, excited, and blessed… working to help people see results in their lives.   

I feel Fortunate for the opportunity to play a role in making a difference in someone's life.

But then I wonder did I do enough… Am I doing enough… Am I giving enough…
