There comes a point when many of us realise we've spent more time protecting our lives than creating them. In this episode, I reflect on the quiet pull of comfort, why most meaningful change doesn't happen until life forces our hand, and why we shouldn't be ashamed of the choices we've made, they were the right ones for who we were at the time. But purpose isn't about becoming someone else. It's about rediscovering the person we gradually buried beneath distractions, compromises, responsibilities, and safe choices, and finding the courage to let that fire breathe again.
Today’s Five Star Minute invites you to slow down before the year takes over.
Choose one word — not a goal, not a resolution — a feeling you want more of in your life.
Write it down. Place it somewhere you’ll see it.
Return to it throughout the day and notice what shifts.
One word.
One minute.
A different way to begin.
