Ole Miss is 5-2 (1-2) on the 2024-25 season and on its bye after its latest loss at LSU. The Rebels still haven’t won in Death Valley since 2008. 

Their contender status for the first-ever, 12-team College Football Playoff these many years later is in peril because of it — a 29-26 overtime stinker.

Where do the Rebels go from here? Again, Ole Miss is off this week, but the Rebels get Oklahoma (4-2, 1-2) two Saturdays from now. The new-look Sooners were whipped by top-ranked Texas over the weekend.
