David Brandt is now with the Associated Press. However, one of his previous stops was an extended run covering Ole Miss sports for the Clarion-Ledger. 

Brandt links back up with Zach Berry (OMSpirit.com) in this (May 23, 2024) edition of ‘The Flagship,’ powered by College Corner, for a fair and balanced evaluation of Mike Bianco’s Rebel baseball tenure, as well as his status following his 24th season at the helm. 

Bianco led the Rebels to their one and only national championship back in the summer of 2022. However, pretty much everything else the last three years has been miserable. Ole Miss has won just 36 percent (36-64) of its SEC games — an average of 10.3 wins and 19.7 losses.
