September 16, 2024 FLITE CHAT 0046: September 15, 2024
This week we pay a bit of tribute to James Earl Jones, take more aim at the scourge of tribalism in fandoms, figure out exactly how Zack Snyder should team up with James Gunn in the DCU, and get some watch and play updates on The Boys, Star Trek: TNG and Star Wars Outlaws among other things.

September 12, 2024 0186: James Earl Jones
I pay tribute to the late great James Earl Jones and the impact he made on my life as one of the greatest actors of our time, and then finish with a rapid fire of thoughts on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the Josh Brolin nonsense, Spider-Man 4 and '“grounded” Batman.

August 26, 2024 FLITE CHAT 0045: August 25, 2024
This week we find some possible light at the end of The Acolyte’s cancellation tunnel, why Superman is arguably at his best when he’s morally conflicted, and which famous actor that actually hasn’t been in Star Trek yet should be in it.

August 23, 2024 0185: ...With Thunderous Applause
This is my safer, calmer version of my thoughts on the cancellation of The Acolyte, how it’s part of a pattern of bad decisions from Disney over the years, and why trying to argue away the bigotry it supports doesn’t work, because you should never trust corporations. Ever.

August 16, 2024 0184: D23 and Studio Streaming Evolution
This week I talk about D23 last weekend, including why we should have gotten official trailer releases from it, and then go into a deep dive on WBD’s financial chaos and how all of Hollywood is dealing with it, before giving some brief thoughts on the new Kraven trailer.

This week’s feedback show was longer due to a full slate of spoiler-filled responses to both Deadpool & Wolverine and San Diego Comic-Con announcements, with some watch updates and other questions mixed in.

August 01, 2024 0183: San Diego Comic-Con 2024
A full breakdown of my favorite franchises at SDCC, Star Trek, DC and Marvel, along with some honesty on Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU as Doctor Doom, and why Marvel Studios is under far more pressure than DC Studios right now.

July 29, 2024 FLITE REVIEW 0034: Deadpool & Wolverine
I did my best to review Deadpool & Wolverine without any spoilers, and while it was VERY difficult, I did it and talked about how it pays tribute to FOX Marvel, and what it means for the future of the MCU.

Plenty of spoiler-filled talk about The Acolyte, more expectations for SDCC, thoughts on Batman Begins and watch updates among other things, including how I should tackle “The List” and what if FliteCast had a Discord server?
