In this episode, the Madcaps joined by Ryan Smart, a Florida politics insider discuss the upcoming strategy to inform and organize environmental advocates for the upcoming 2025 legislative session and to oppose further attempts to develop our conservation lands.   This means along side the usual Madcaps episodes we will be rolling out weekly legislative-focused episodes as well.   These episodes will be titled “As Bad As It is” and will feature discussions about the legislative process in Florida, how it affects our environment, and what we can do about it.

This week the Madcaps interview Captain Karl R. Deigert who is spearheading the grassroots initiative to get a Constitutional Amendment on the ballot that will give legal standing to protect waterways from pollution or over pumping.
