Bro. Josh Abrego is a professor at Christian Life College. He is a man of prayer, study, and passion as you will hear in this episode. He is currently finishing his thesis for his PhD. in Philosophy and Theology and his knowledge comes through in this conversation.

The initial idea for this episode came to me while listening to Bro. Abrego's podcast, "The Certain Sound."  He was interviewing Pastor Lopez and discussing spiritual disciplines. I highly recommend listening to that episode.

This is a special episode for me. I have since day one wanted to get my dad on here to do an episode and the time has finally come. This week after Father's day seemed like the best time. The topics I could have covered in this one were endless, but I couldn't think of a better one than that of prayer. My dad has taught me to pray by praying consistently for my whole life. I can truly say prayer is probably the most consistent and important thing in his life. 

If you're looking for a "hack" or shortcut to a powerful prayer life you won't find those things in this episode, but there are some foundational principles shared that if applied and maintained will lead to the greatest relationship you could ever have.
