College basketball is taking up the US by storm but football has Europe, and the good brothers, in a similar mode on Episode 86 of The Football Misfits! Ronny, Spencer, and LV discuss the remaining Round of 16 matches in the UEFA Champions League, which saw the likes of Manchester United and Juventus eliminated, and the UEFA Europa League, featuring the two clubs who share the city of the 2022 Final getting bounced in extra time. The good brothers dissect the quarterfinal draws for those competitions, as well as the UEFA Europa Conference League, before breaking down a week's worth of domestic football. Manchester City's initial stronghold atop the Premier League is withering while Juventus, who began the season in the mud in Italy, is on a new level. Lastly, BS of the Week goes to banners that are hard to find, salty MLS teams, and protests that went wrong at matches.

LV is back on the podcast and what a week to make his return! The Football Misfits are immediately overwhelmed by Paris Saint-Germain crashing and burning out of the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Karim Benzema and Real Madrid. The good brothers give their takes on what the loss means for PSG moving forward and the remaining UCL and UEFA Europa League matches of the week. Cristiano Ronaldo dropped a hat trick on Tottenham, spoiling LV's return but the resident Spurs supporter gives his take on the match as well as the top four chase in England and the Serie A race. Meanwhile, Ronny gives props to a seemingly underrated Italian-league talent before giving BS of the Week to capping government officials and a significant other choosing footy over his partner.

Julian shares his thoughts on Juventus practically joining the scudetto hunt and the top four in Italy. The Manchester Derby took Premier League-headlines, specifically Manchester United's poor showing. Seemingly per usual no one wants the fourth spot in England and the relegation battle brings continued interest. On the field, the good brothers come to the realization that the Europa League knockout rounds have been more heart-pounding than the set of Champions League Round of 16. Marcelo Bielsa was given the sack by Leeds United and the good brothers have their say on his departure and the arrival of former RB Leipzig boss Jesse Marsch. Juventus are sneaking their way into the Serie A title race and the Carabao Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool was QUITE the match. Lastly, BS of the Week is handed to clubs in UEFA's second- and third-tier competitions.

Episode 82 of The Football Misfits Podcast sees the return of the UEFA Champions League! PSG/Real Madrid and Inter Milan/Liverpool were the standout matches of the week but did not live up to its billing, despite goals being left late. The UEFA Europa League returned with some firey matches stretching from Barcelona to Saint Petersburg to Dortmund. Tottenham got the better of Manchester City in Premier League action on the weekend, opening up the competition's title and top-four chases. However, it pales in comparison to the title pursuit in Italy's Serie A. Lastly, BS of the Week goes to people punching mothers, a hat-trick of own goals, and Wayne Rooney opening up closed wounds.

Club footy was back in our sights on episode 81 of the #FootyMisfits, but not before a brief look at the ongoing conversation about the penalty shootout during the AFCON 2021 Final. After that, the good brothers dived into the Premier League's race for Champions League positions, and a certain Premier League club's time at the FIFA Club World Cup. Serie A's title race is also continuing to heat up; quite the opposite was said of the Bundesliga and La Liga chase. The Misfits also focused on a few NFL-inspired league format ideas brought up in Germany. Finally, BSOTW was dished out to animal abuse, Christian Pulisic's dance moves, and Antonio Conte.

For Episode 80, two-thirds of the #FootyMisfits kicked off the pod in-person for the first time ever! With no shortage of topics to cover this time around, the good brothers got straight into the star-studded 2021 AFCON Final match between Senegal and Egypt. Afterward, the team got into the stand-out players and moments of the tournament, and what lies ahead for the CAF's World Cup 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Also under the microscope was the USMNT's dismal performance against up-and-coming North American rivals Canada, and US Coach Greg Berhalter's interesting comments post-match. The Misfits also tackled the ever-anxiety-inducing January transfer window, the Women's Asian Cup, and the many ongoing cup competitions in club footy. Last on the list of course was BSOTW, which was delivered to BEIN Sports, Greg Berhalter, and stingy stewards.

With the rare January International Break upon us, The Football Misfits forges on. Ronny, Spencer, and LV discuss the latter stages of the Africa Cup of Nations and a **revised** tournament favorite. World Cup Qualifiers resumed with a battle in South America and Canada becoming the new kings of Concacaf, overtaking the United States and Mexico. On the women's front, the four AFC Women's Asian Cup semifinalists booked their place for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, and the good brothers show some love to soon-to-be debutants Philippines! Lastly, BS of the Week is handed to a footballer under police investigation, more AFCON disrespect, and Gregg Berhalter absolutely tripping.

On Episode 78 of The Football Misfits, the good brothers discuss the conclusion of the group stage at the Africa Cup of Nations and the shock exits of Algeria, Ghana, and Nigeria while favoring the Gambia in the knockout rounds. The African World Cup Qualifying draw as well as the start of the AFC Women's Asian Cup took place during the week with Ronny, Spencer, and LV reacting. On the club level, it was a week of highs and lows for LV as Tottenham was on both sides of that spectrum. The guys talk about the Copa del Rey, Serie A, and a title race in the Eredivisie. Lastly, BS of the Week goes to FIFA's "The Best" Awards, unruly fans, and an immature veteran of the game.

On Episode 77 of The Football Misfits, the good brothers continue their coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations. They discuss the chances Cameroon, Senegal, and Nigeria have of winning the competition as well as Ghana and Algeria in big trouble after two matchdays. Ronny, Spencer, and LV give praise to Sierra Leone and their darling run in the AFCON after nabbing points from Algeria and Ivory Coast.
