As for episode 71, the Real RSL discusses the final set of UEFA Champions League matches and the shocks from the group stage. The Europa League also wrapped up and the field is STACKED! The Europa Conference League concluded too but the headlines were off the pitch. The top of the Premier League needed penalties to win their respective matches, Real Madrid starting to pull away with La Liga, a tight race in Serie A, and MLS Cup is coming to Footy Misfits HQ are all on the docket!

The Football Misfits are on to Episode 70 of the podcast! In this episode, the good brothers discuss a smorgasbord of topics ranging from the Ballon d'Or that was handed out last Monday to the success David Moyes is having at West Ham United. Ronny, Spencer, and LV also talk about Aston Villa improving under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and the smoke Jude Bellingham dished out to the Bundesliga on the heels of their loss to Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker. They also get into the title races in Spain and Italy before sticking in the Serie A for this week's edition of BS of the Week.

The Football Misfits are walking into a Winter Wonderland on Episode 69, as they discuss a week/weekend filled with footy played in snowy conditions (or not if you're Burnley vs. Tottenham). The good brothers discuss Dortmund's relegation to the Europa League following their loss to Sporting CP, the possibility of Barcelona joining BVB, the clubs qualified for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, and Tottenham losing to NS Mura. Domestically, the Real RSL discuss Bayern Munich's COVID concerns, Chelsea and Manchester United playing to a draw, and Napoli's prospects of winning Serie A without their starman Victor Osimhen. Lastly, BS of the Week is handed out to South American timewasters, a college soccer team with a lack of discipline, and the idea of the Africa Cup of Nations being a "little tournament."

The Misfits pick back up where they left off at the tail end of the international break, which saw England, The Netherlands, Argentina, and Switzerland qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile — Italy, Portugal, Russia, and Sweden are on upset alert as they head to the playoffs in European qualifiers. Club footy also made its return, however, yet another Premier League manager has been thrown to the wolves. The good brothers tackle the Ole Gunnar-sized elephant in the room, unpacking the now-former Manchester United manager's sacking after a brutal loss to Watford. Elsewhere, Serie A kicked off in style with six of the top eight teams clashing. Among those, Napoli and AC Milan suffered their first league losses of the season. In La Liga, the RSL breaks down Xavi's first win as Barcelona's new head honcho, Real Madrid nabbing the top spot, and LV's love affair with Rayo Vallecano.
