Big K-Dog himself Koen Sanchez makes his way into the studio ahead of the AFL Draft in just over a weeks time. Very fun conversation, even funnerer listen!

The poddy's are back, the studio is not. Down in Binningup to the Hall

Harry Cole has been another bolter in this years draft, the medium forward out of Claremont and Hale has been superb in 2022 to find himself as a late addition to the state squad where he performed admirably in the State Carnival. Able to push into the midfield and play a variety of roles in the forward line, Harry's talent and versatility will have many clubs licking their lips.

Ed Allan is a tantalising prospect heading into this draft. With such a limited sample size in 2022 due to injury, Ed was exciting in the few games he managed. A tall player capable of playing all across the ground, Ed predominantly fills out on a wing and has managed to bolt himself into first round draft calculations.

Sam Gilbey has been one of the top prospects in this draft since the year began, but off the back of illness and injury, he has missed out on a lot of opportunities in 2022, but has continued to impress whenever he has played. A good sized, rebounding defender, Sam is a smart player with a beauty of a kick.

Darcy Jones has been one who has proved many doubters wrong in 2022. A short king of an inside midfielder, Darcy uses his speed and agility to be a major threat in contests and get around the ground to accumulate and dominate. A helmet wearing, scoreboard impacting jet, Darcy broke the all time agility record in the most recent National Combine, a record previously held by Stephen Hill.

A late addition to the state squad off the back of AFL clubs wanting to see more of him, the year has been a big one for him.

Jedd Busslinger and Hugh Davies are two of the draft's premier key defenders in 2022. Busslinger firms a likely top 10 selection as the number one key defender in this draft. He is a smart user of the footy, reader of the play, and close personal friend of Joel Selwood, a story he delves into in detail.

Davies is going to be an interesting name to watch in this draft, a potential gem late in the draft, or early selection for a club yearning for the smart, intercept defender that has become so popular in the modern game.

Baxter Philip is a crafty and athletic midfielder who can fill out a spot in the engine room, on the outside, or as a forward. Small and lightweight, his athleticism and skill has been the foundation for an ultra impressive 2022 which saw him earn a spot in the WA State Combine, where he dominated testing.

Stories from his professional wake-boarding day, dispelling rumours in the media and his rapid improvement in 2022, there's plenty on offer from Baxter in this episode.
