The seasons over and we're ready to call it a day. Trade chat is heating up, there's no such thing as a reliable source and clubs are throwing empty threats around for fun. Happy end of season xo
Sebs back, Julia's on, footy is here. An early start to the round is upon us as we discuss everything ahead of us in a massive week of footy.
4 teams left, soon to be 2, 2 blokes best suited to tell you all about it (probably not us). A look at the finals as we gear up for a big two weeks to go of 2022's AFL season.
Joining me in the studio this week is the Dockers newest Irish import Orlagh Lally. From title celebrations with Meath to a podcast studio built on a budget in a spare room, it's been a wild ride for Orlagh to get to the Dockers, and with a few games under her belt, she tells us all about that journey.
Wowee, what an intense week 1 of finals that was. It's hard to see how it gets any better than that, but lucky we're here to try make it better.
Unfortunately no full podcast this week for the AFLW, but to make up for it, Collingwood superstar Ruby Schleicher joined me for a chat. From the beginnings of the AFLW to now, the rough starts, moving to Melbourne with no money and looking at how far she's come to be a back to back All-Australian, Ruby dishes up some great gab.
Some scheduling issues left our dear Franky out of contention for this weeks episode, fortunately West Coast's Lauren Wakfer clutched up to come in and give us the spill on life at the Eagals. Hawthorn captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd was also kind enough to join over the phone for a chat about her career, her records in inaugurality (if that's a word) and life at the Hawks.
Oh baby, finals week 1 is here and what better way to celebrate then with a big name guest, Michael Frederick from the Fremantle Dockers is in the studio ahead of his do or die clash against the Dogs. Hoping, praying, wishing that you enjoy the listen.
That's a day for home and away footy, 23 weeks gone, 8 teams remain. We get some of the pre-finals niceties out of the way, giving you the best genuine All-Aus team you'll see (way better than the official crap) and dish out our TABTouch Awards for U22 and overall player of the year.
Due to popular demand, Fremantle's very own Amy Franklin has taken over to become a host of her own podcast on The Footy Yarn this AFLW season. From being the victim of some intense tickling in a preseason scratchie to borrowing Sean Darcy's boots, she certainly makes the most of her time on the mic. Hope you enjoy and make sure to follow us on Instagram and YouTube to keep up to date with all our other content.
