Sydney Kirkegaard is a theater and commercial actor from Milwaukee, WI, and got her BFA in Musical Theater at TCU. Sydney has performed in venues across the country including the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Riverside Theater, Lyric Stage, Skylight Music Theater, and most notably, alongside Phish at Madison Square Garden. She also works as a voice over artist for video games, anime cartoons and tv commercials including characters in American Girl, One Piece and Cousins. She has trained in all styles of dance for 17 years and continues to train/assist classes at BDC.

Grace Copeland is a director/producer of both theatrical media and live shows based in New York City. To support her own creative endeavors, she accepts commissions for theater photography and dance films. Grace has no background in theater or dance and has stumbled into the arts industry through God's favor and good friends who believed in her before she believed in herself. She is currently producing a series of dance films called Dance In Development, which supports theatermakers developing new work by creating dance films of original songs written for the stage. She is also producing a dance series called Unpolished Movement Portraits that celebrates the humanity of movement artists. Grace has been a selected artist twice for Rockefeller Center’s annual Flag Project photo exhibit. Her live show credits include Ryan Dunn: A Seasonal Playlist and IJM x Broadway, a Broadway benefit concert for International Justice Mission. She wants to create in a way that always loves the artists more than the art.

July 28, 2023 S2, E4 - Josh Dunn on collaboration and making the spiritual things physical
Josh Dunn is a creator, producer, and performer. On stage, he was most recently seen in the world premiere of The Wanderer at Papermill Playhouse. He was also in the national tour of Finding Neverland and the off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish directed by Joel Grey. Last summer, he premiered a new physical theatre/vaudeville piece at Little Island as a part of their pop-up performance series. His forthcoming work, Scrape the Sky, will premiere at Jefferson Market Library. Josh is the founder of Criss Cross, an NYC-based arts company producing opportunities for collaboration and education. He is on the leadership team for Renaissance, a creative collective of redemptive artists in Manhattan fostering communion and creation. He is passionate about giving artists a platform to share and connect.

Jillian Paige is the Founder of Meisner in Music, the premier class to infuse the Meisner technique with singing. Jillian received her master’s in music theatre from Oklahoma City University, her bachelor’s in classical vocal performance from Belmont University, and studied Meisner under Terry Martin (a direct pupil of Meisner’s), and Ted Wold. Jillian is based out of New York City and has performed with companies such as Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Nashville Opera, and Kentucky Opera. She is passionate about helping singers maintain beautiful singing while achieving emotional freedom and impulsivity in the moment.

Today's guest is Kimberly Yates. Kimberly Yates is a New York based actress. Some of her favorite projects include the LA premiere of The Mistakes Madeline Made by Elizabeth Meriweather, creator of New Girl, the New York Premiere of Fabuloso at the Irish Repertory Theatre, The Cherry Orchard playing opposite Jim Parsons, The Woolgatherer playing opposite Bradley Cooper, playing alongside Sue Galloway in the Wonder of the World and Criminal Minds', Kirsten Vangsness in the Inv:s:ble Play. She can be heard in tons of anime features including Evangelion, Gunsmith Cats and Read or Die for which she won the Dubbie Award for Best Voice Actress in a Leading Role. She’s the acting coach for clients including A$AP Rocky, Jack Whitehall and 2 time Emmy winner Tamara Braun. One of the founding members of the improv team High Status and their spinoff podcast called, High Tea. She gave a TedxTalk called Re-Learning Forgiveness. She graduated with a Masters of Sacred Theology from General Theological Seminary in May of 2022 and won the historic Seymour Prize for Extemporaneous Preaching. She has written the book Rivers of Life: A 40 day devotional, the film Relatively Speaking starring Jim Parsons, and was commissioned to write the short film “Kissing.” She has recently workshopped her first full length play: La Joie: A Play about Suffering. It is based on the Chagall painting named La Joie, so if the title is hard to pronounce blame it on him.

Danielle Bees is a Sofia Symphonic Summit 2023 Composer, an ICEBERG Institute 2022 Composer, an Alba Festival 2021 Composition Fellow, and an ICon Arts Transylvania Academy 2020 Composer in Residence. Her music for the concert hall, film, and theatre has been performed throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. She has worked with notable ensembles such as Trio Immersio, The Julius Quartet, Transient Canvas, the Hub New Music Ensemble, the RSNO Ensemble, and the Edinburgh Quartet, and collaborated with actors, directors, and writers alike. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Music from the Greatbatch School of Music at Houghton College and a Master of Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
