This was dope. What Dorig was able to bring to the table was so valuable and we hope it brought you all benefit. We discuss the Surf culture and how that might be able benefit Golf. We dive into what Leus stands for, why it was started and Dorig' s journey to this point.  We established that the main thing was for people to understand about Golf was to just be able to have fun. It's something we've spoken about so much either on the Podcast, Instagram or Blog and is something we will continue to drill into people. Community, experience and fun. It really can be that straightforward. Why we concern ourselves so much with the 'hierarchy' that may or may not exist, I will never understand. Dorig makes an amazing point that the more emerging brands that are able to tell different stories and narratives, the more this game progresses. We are all welcome to play, no matter our background. The first thing to know about Colin is that he is an incredibly real guy and the topic of authenticity is what resonated throughout. It's so important that we all recognize who we are and embrace that. So many of us reject ourselves somewhat and spend our time posturing or faking to maintain a certain image. Colin knows this and is unapologetic about being himself. What's more encouraging is that Colin spends a lot of his time with kids and teaching them how to play but is also teaching them how to be themselves. Golf gives us all the opportunity, through our swing and style of play, to express ourselves freely and I think this isn't talked about enough! Excited! A couple months back, after coming to the conclusion there isn't a value add Golf holiday in the market, we set out to create Just Jaks Golf Escapes. This podcast references 'Nation Tours', but we just changed the name :) We wanted to create the best Golf Holiday product out there so we spent weeks formulating this. Just Jaks Golf Escapes will be an all-inclusive, hassle free, bespoke, concierge driven, improvement, competition and value driven trip. We want to create an environment where either individual Golfers or Golfers as part of a group can come and enjoy this experience together. We were growing frustrated in the amount of effort required to book and manage your typical Golf holiday and then when on the holiday, there always seemed to be issues with shuttles or tee times etc. Additionally, as amateur Golfers, we long to be part of the competition that pros get to be involved in week in and week out so we decided to create a team tournament format where players will take part in dinners, receive loads of merchandise and compete Ryder Cup style! Not only this, to make sure you improve, there will be a coach on hand to help you improve all week - all included in the price!
