After 2 more kids go missing from Oakland County under the exact same conditions as Mark Stebbins, it is clear that a serial killer is on the loose in Oakland County. Jill Robinson and Kristine Mihelich go missing, are held for days alive, and then ultimately are found murdered by the sides of public roads. Enter late 1976 and early 1977 as the community goes frantic and the hunt for the Oakland County Child Killer intensifies.

Another child goes missing from Oakland County, only this one is found in Ohio, and the circumstances seem different. Due to this and other incidents in the community, tensions begin to rise. Judy Ferro's case is ultimately put to rest, but that only leaves more questions regarding the other victims. A lot has happened in a short amount of time, so in this episode I also step back and take a look at the overall events that have occurred in the first few months of 1976.
