Henpaku, one of the top speedrunners of Dead Cells (current WR of Any% as of this recording), joins Alex and Zach for a deep discussion about the intricacies of running a game with random elements and how the run has changed since release. He also talks about a darker moment that those outside of the Dead Cells community may not have even known about involving a moment of cheating. Henpaku's redemption story is one that fascinated us and we were thankful for him opening up on our show. We also learned that finding an Xbox controller in Japan is quite a task.
Joe and Alex interview Brandon Braun about his first retail game Frogsong, which was featured in the Wholesome Direct.
