Today I speak about the importance of mentors online in a digital age as an artist, and the success and warmth I have found from The Isolation Journals by Suleika Jaouad and Next Level Playing by Paul Davids, and their respective Facebook Groups. 

Really starting to get my life together here. I rant today on the important parts of self development, lessons from the weekend, and how measuring your goals in 8 days over 3 years is much better.

A new segment, ever damn day, where I diseminate in 10 to 20 minutes whats on my mind. I need to get all the BS out somehow! 

This week on the podcast, I struggle for creativity, but find resolution. My roots as a musician is to make chill, relaxing, meaningful music, and when the flows are not there, I reach out to the masters. Artists like Questlove, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, have all been influneces for the week. Sometimes you have to chalk up a songwriting week as an L, but that doesnt mean you do not keep pushing. 

Episode 30 is comprised of experimentive short form covers on John Mayer's Gravity, and Olivia, and lay down some acoustic tunes from my vacaton, and piano tunes I am working on. I hope you enjoy!

This week on the podcast, I dust off an old album idea that I stopped working on. It was something that was nice, but truthfully the instrumentation was something lacking for what I wanted to achieve. The songs on there are inspired by my amazing piano teachers, mentors, and favorite artists that have helped me on my path (Joni Mitchell and Lenoard Cohen). The last part of the podcast ends with an unproduced favorite song of mine by Bon Iver, called 'Heavenly Father.'
