This week we return to everyone's favorite hotheaded king of hell, but with a twist. Similar to Moon Knight, Ghost Rider is a mantle found throughout history; so naturally it gets really weird at some points. Sibling rivalry, dead alien races, ghost babies, and is that a gorilla?? There have been plenty of odd characters covered on this podcast, but the many mantles of ghost rider might just take the flaming cake.

There are quite a few mantles within comics that are picked up and left by a host of different characters, and today on Forgotten Heroes we will discuss the hottest one yet. Ghost Rider boasts a shocking amount of power and issues to his name making him the flaming staple of the marvel comics. Thankfully Johnny Blaze has a curse that effects his family members as well which give us plenty to talk about! Death riders, lords of corruption, sorceresses and lots and lots of deals. You couldn't cool down this hellblazin' episode if you tried!

Welcome back to Forgotten Heroes, while this episode in particular will definitely not be forgotten since it's just about as chaotic as it's character focus. This week we discuss the controversial Plastic Man! Starting off as a great success, and depending on who you talk to, that success either continues or stops abruptly. However Zack and Chris felt he was too good not to talk about. From dead beat dad and criminal, to a vigilante willing to oppose Superman Plastic Man has an impressive resume, and this week we will discuss his insane powers and variants.

You could study all you want but you'd never get as smart as the topic for this episode! Mr. Terrific is not exactly a household name and that's surprising considering that this hero is described as having a natural aptitude for having natural aptitudes...yeah. So as much as we'd all like him to do our tests for us, unfortunately we can only talk about his panel appearances. While this does seem like a nexus-esque being, you'd be surprised to learn there has been more than one Mr. Terrific. And if he's so smart, why does he need a team? Find out in this terrific episode of Forgotten Heroes!

Probably one of the best representations behind the name Forgotten Heroes is our character for this week Darkhawk! That thought you just had, "who?", that's what we mean. In addition to being a victim of the passing of time Darkhawk comes with an interesting retcon that makes you think this is actually a DC character instead! Space amulets and bird analogies are frequent in this episode of Forgotten Heroes.

Of all the bug related heroes in DC and Marvel a beetle has managed to make its way to the limelight in the past couple years. So Zack and Chris decided to discuss the one and only blue beetle. Jaime Reyes isn't the only one to take up the mantle, which makes for a host of weird side characters. The real question of this episode is, can Chris really explain a convoluted backstory better that pronouncing Jaime's name?
