The Forgotten Heroes

This episode of The Forgotten Heroes brings you some long-forgotten and dead versions of some classic characters as Zack and Chris explore the exploits of the Teen Titans! We explore nineties cheese, trigon mutations, and even fascist versions of our favorite door slamming coming-of-age team we all know and love. And if you don't know'em, this episode will help! So make sure to lock the door to your room, tell your parents how incompetent they are, and profess how much you don't care about anything for this rollercoaster of emotions that might just rival puberty.

Bust out your binoculars and bird pamphlets because for this week of Forgotten Heroes we're discussing every little boy's first goth crush, Raven! Similar to her aviary counterparts, Raven excels at reading human emotion and if she was with Zack and Chris recording, she'd see that there are some strong feelings in this episode. From a series favorite line of bombshells to amalgams and bad on-the-spot names this episode's got it all!

Zack and Chris delve into the billionaire club this episode and discuss one of the most well-known hairless men to grace this earth, and it's not Jeff Bezos. Everything Lex Luthor cause in reality we just can't get enough of the actual supervillain corporations! And despite being constantly undermined by a two-syllable named alien with great hair, his dental plan is AMAZING. Not to mention a Forgotten Heroes first, as three of our versions of double L this week have intersecting timelines that relate to one another! As if Lex wasn't already his own worst enemy, to begin with.

In this shocking episode, Zack and Chris fight off a bolt of inspiration to come up with a one-word catchphrase because this week we're talking about Shazam! He's got bats in his last name, but he's certainly not a brooding superhero though many argue he could take the Dark Knight easily. We will cover a bit of an identity crisis, a collective of wills to make the man, a separation of the two, and another equally bizarre Just Imagine storyline, we promise we love you, Stan!

Welcome to the very first in-person Forgotten Heroes episode! For the first time ever, Zack and Chris are recording in the same room; which is ironic considering the artificial approach to this week's hero...Cyborg! While Vic Stone may seem like a rather one-note hero, our intrepid hosts are here to show you he's no ordinary collection of advanced Apokoliptian technology. From a Cyborg that doesn't share the same name, a seriously dark, dark knight counterpart, and a few honorable mentions that bring some "uniqueness" to the cybernetic table!

Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist: and no we're not describing Kevin Feige but we are discussing Iron Man in this episode of Forgotten Heroes! A rather large name and arguably bigger ego, Zack and Chris discuss a child prodigy, swap consciousnesses, and take a superego to a WHOLE different level in this episode. It might feel a little claustrophobic in here but at least you're not trapped in a bottle or fused to your super suit!

This week Zack and Chris are seeing red! And no it doesn't have anything to do with the delays in updated MCU release schedule....this week they discuss everyone's favorite horned protector of kitchens everywhere, but mostly New York City, Daredevil! We will go over some very well written obvious versions, a literal chef, and demonic possessions that add some more meaning to the Daredevil mantle.

Ant's measure in the trillions on Earth!  We would say "Now imagine a man the size of an ant with the strength of a normal person" but we don't need to because that's in the MCU!  While you might think of Scott Lang, this is all about his predecessor, Hank Pym, and his family, as crazy and messed up as it is!  Join soldier ants Zack and Chris, and returning guest-ant Dylan, as they discuss the Scientist Supreme, his greatest mistake, and even the secret child he never knew he had!

This episode includes a survey of true and false questions comparing Zack and Chris to the Eternals, cause if you think about it we've always been here too and only now just made an episode about them. We travel back all the way to when humanity itself began in this encompassing episode about the Eternals! But we don't just stop there: a breakdown of the celestials within the Eternals storyline, the creation and conflict evolution of the deviants also await you. We've got inventors, monster slayers, tricksters, and...that's kind of a weird way to spell Superman. Settle in for this space-time adjacent episode as we discuss the Eternals and the pages of lore included with them!
