This fortnight, we talk about Hindi Web Series. In last 2 years, the OTT platform has grown exponentially in India and the content has never been this great. A lot of talented young and old actors are getting to play characters which they otherwise would have missed out on 70MM screens.  Just like any art form, these choices of ours are subjective, we have just picked the 5 that we liked out of whatever we have seen so far in 2020.  We discuss about the riveting high action thriller Special Ops (Hotstar), the nuanced village depiction in Panchayat (TVF/Prime Video), bringing classical music to the forefront in Bandish Bandits (Prime Video), outstanding suspense thriller Paatal Lok (Prime Video) and terrific acting, storytelling & direction in Scam 1992 (Sony LIV).

This fortnight, we talk about a very relatable topic that has been the most debated topic amongst the Indian Corporates (of all sizes and formats) - Future of Workplaces. We discuss whether Remote Working is going be a permanent part, How the Managers are going to handle their teams and finally we discuss whether people are going back to the things they really like doing but never got time before to pursue it.  And we have a guest this week to discuss these aspects, Ms. Priyanka Pani, who is a journalist for almost 15 years now and have extensively covered Fintech, e-Commerce and startup ecosystem in India. She also does regular Insta lives on food, something she is deeply passionate about. And finally we also speak about her foray into entrepreneurship with My Didi's Kitchen.

This fortnight, we talk about one of rare Artists who started his career almost 60 years back and is still relevant through his impeccable writing - Gulzar. Gulzar Sir had been a prolific Director, writer and lyricist. His body of work is so vast that today we are limiting ourselves to only few of his memorable songs where Ratish will recite few lines.  In a nutshell, Gulzar Sir is an institution by himself and he will stay relevant for next many generations to come.  Do like and subscribe for more such content every fortnight. This fortnight, we talk about someone who defines perseverance and is master in his craft of acting, we are discussing Irrfan. But talking about Irrfan will always be subjective as his body of work, his acting prowess and his legacy is very vast.

To have an objective talk about him, we invited over our friend Guru who is an avid movie watcher and a theatre actor himself, to discuss 5 movies of Irrfan that left a long standing impact on him. He found picking 5 movies as difficult as anyone else who has understood the quality of Irrfan.

This fortnight, we talk about a musician who is often referred as Maestro. He is the only composer to have received highest number of National Awards for Music and only Indian to get Academy & Grammy awards, the genius AR Rahman. We have heard our parents telling us the tales of their hardships while growing up so many times. Especially how they used to reach their schools, the difficulties of lack of electricity and so on. But after all these years, this generation, including our parents are going through a phase where we both are witnessing a pandemic for the very first time in such a large devastating scale.

On a lighter note, we realized now we can trump our parents by saying we got much bigger tales to tell our kids what we have gone through and it is a real Pandemic, or as called in Hindi - Mahamari. We also talk about what has been happening around us in the last fortnight. 

This fortnight, we talk about a genre of movies in India which brings out more laughs than scare - Horror. Yes, it sounds ironic in the hindsight. But for a 90s kid, it was an interesting time to grow up with different kinds of horror movies or shows on TV. We speak about Ramsay brothers to cast which were a regular in these movies to Zee Horror Show. This has been the most fun episode so far for us. We hope you will have a good laugh too.
