Surrendering to God does not mean we have to give up. 

We can't get to a place of healing while remaining in a place of sadness and despair. We must choose to move forward. 

Watering the desert is impossible but we try to do it and we try to do it alone, but we don't have to. 

Few things in life are linear, healing is not one of them
