  • Is There More Stimulus Money on the Way?
Despite America's economy still being largely shut down, rent or mortgage payments are still being collected. This is why there is pressure on Washington to pass yet another stimulus package. • From Empty Streets To Empty Shelves?
Consumers are rushing to buy meat amid shortage concerns after the USDA reported beef and pork production were down significantly in April. Meat production plant closures brought on by coronavirus are compounding the problem. Leslie Sarasin, President and CEO of the Food Industry Association, discusses the strain on our supply chain, efforts by President Trump to curb the shortage, and the impacts Americans might see in grocery stores.
In the last couple of months the coronavirus has completely changed our daily lives including the American workforce. The virus has created "essential" workers, remote workers and the increasing unemployment across the country that doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. The big question is, when we finally return to our new normal, what will the future of jobs look like? How has this pandemic changed the way we work, what adjustments will be made permanent and what will companies and employers do to survive if there is another crisis? Chief Knowledge Officer at the Society for Human Resource Management, Alex Alonso and Global Leader of Deloitte’s Human Capital Practice, Erica Volini weigh in.
Plus, commentary by FOX Nation host Tammy Bruce.

  • Fox News Rundown Extra: Former NY Gov. Pataki On Andrew Cuomo, Donald Trump And The Next American Rebound
When terrorists attacked Lower Manhattan on September 11, 2001, the country was in a state of shock, the economy took a massive hit and many Americans thought we'd never be the same.
While our country was changed after that crisis, both America and New York recovered.
George Pataki was the governor of New York on 9/11 and he helped in that recovery.
On the Fox News Rundown earlier this week, Gov. Pataki joined host Dave Anthony to discuss how that national crisis compares to what America is experiencing now as we try to combat both health and economic threats from the coronavirus.
Pataki saw several parallels between 2001 and today, and weighed in on how our national and local leaders are responding to the pandemic. He also offered some advice to those leaders and had some criticisms for the media's coverage.
The full interview was candid and insightful, but too long and we could not include it all in our original segment.
This episode of Fox News Rundown Extra includes the entire conversation with former New York Governor. Besides hearing more about Pataki's views on leadership and his experience coping with challenges of 9/11, you will hear his take on modern day politics and the 2020 race.

  • Fox News Rundown Extra: Inside The DOJ's Effort To Combat The China Threat
The coronavirus pandemic has raised a lot of questions about our country's relationship with China. But even before that, there were concerns over the nation's early handling of the virus and their transparency in regards to the scope of their outbreak. U.S. officials had already been investigating China and trying to hold them accountable for their bad behavior.
US Assistant Attorney General for national security, John Demers leads the Department of Justice's task force that is responsible for combating questionable trade practices, cyber-attacks and other national security threats from China.
Demers spoke to host Jessica Rosenthal on the Fox News Rundown earlier this week and detailed how the DOJ is working to protect our country's intellectual property, infrastructure and citizens.
The conversation shed a lot of light on the tactics China is using to undermine our country and what kind of cases the U.S. government is pursuing against them. Demers also suggested the country has been targeting some of our health services since the coronavirus crisis has begun and potentially slowing our effort to combat Covid-19.
The conversation was too long and we could include it all in our original segment.
On the Fox News Rundown Extra, you will hear our full interview with Assistant AG John Demers and get a better sense of threat being posed by China and why trying to hold them accountable has been such a challenge.
