  • Amid Ukraine Invasion, Project Dynamo Works To Rescue Americans and Allies

After months of tension, Russia launched a full-scale military invasion into Ukraine in late February. President Putin has unleashed air assaults on bustling urban areas of Ukraine such as the city of Kharkiv, leading many to fear for their lives. As families attempt to leave the country, a brave group of volunteers has ventured into dangerous territory to help save lives.

Bryan Stern is the co-founder of Project Dynamo, a Tampa-based non-profit which aims to help Americans and allies abroad escape war-torn countries such as Ukraine. He spoke to Dave Anthony about the challenges he faces as he evacuates people from a country under siege.

Bryan also discusses Project Dynamo's previous efforts to rescue Americans trapped in Afghanistan following the Taliban's takeover in 2021 and how that experience prepared him for his current mission.

Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the interview in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you'll hear our entire conversation with Bryan Stern and learn more about his rescue operations in Ukraine.

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine rages on, the Biden Administration has discussed potentially issuing sanctions on Russia’s oil and gas industry. Senior energy market analyst and Fox Business contributor Phil Flynn joins the Rundown to discuss the impact imposing energy sanctions on Russia could have on America, why tapping into the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve is not enough to regain control of the oil market, and how the current spike in oil prices could possibly lead to a recession.

  • "State of the Union" Address Comes Amid Raging War

President Biden faces a difficult task ahead of his State of the Union address Tuesday night, where he must explain to Americans why the state of the U.S. is strong amid continuing war abroad with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The domestic picture is not ideal for the Biden administration either, as Americans feel the pain of inflation at the grocery store and gas pump. Former White House speechwriter and Fox News Contributor Marc Thiessen explains why President Biden must send a strong message of support for the people of Ukraine, what rhetorical mistakes the President could make in his State of the Union addresses, and the difficult job ahead for Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, who is delivering the GOP rebuttal speech.

The stakes are high for President Biden as he places the finishing touches on his State of the Union address. The President’s approval ratings have decreased to under 40% with Americans frustrated by surging inflation prices and his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, Democrats are hopeful that President Biden’s relationships with European allies amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will be enough for him to change minds with his speech. Former Democratic Tennessee Congressman and FOX News contributor Harold Ford Jr. joins the Rundown to preview tonight’s speech and discuss President Biden’s dealing with Covid, record-high inflation, and his response to the Ukraine crisis.

Plus, commentary by National Security Expert, Dr. Rebecca Grant.
