  • From Washington: Will President Biden Get What He Wants?
After a weeklong standoff on Capitol Hill, Democrat and Republican Senate lawmakers reached an agreement to extend the debt-ceiling to early December, avoiding the U.S. government to default. Jared and FOX News Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram explain how the two parties were able to reach a short-term agreement.
President Biden is hoping he can put pressure on Congress to pass his Build Back Better agenda. The President laid out his case for the need to pass his $1.2-trillion infrastructure bill and $3.5-trillion "human infrastructure" bill in Michigan this week. The price tag for the $3.5-trillion bill will come down to satisfying the concerns of moderate Democrats who have been critical of the price. The U.S Chamber of Congress has endorsed the smaller bipartisan infrastructure bill, but they are not on board with the larger reconciliation bill or the new taxes that come with paying for it. Vice President of Transportation and Infrastructure at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Ed Mortimer joins Jared to explain.

  • President Biden's Approval Rating Sinks To New Low
After narrowly avoiding a national debt crisis, lawmakers have agreed to a short-term debt ceiling increase to last until December 2021. The White House is now facing a major confidence issue after many chaotic political battles with few victories for President Biden's agenda. A recent Quinnipiac poll showed the President' approval rating had dropped to 38 percent. Fox News Sunday Anchor Chris Wallace joins to break down exactly why President Biden is losing the approval of many constituents and how the U.S. ended up with a late solution to kick the debt ceiling issue down the road. Later, he describes how disputes between Democratic centrists and progressives threaten to further derail President Biden's agenda and how tribalism has fractured political discourse in America.

With the coronavirus continuing to disrupt supply chains and inflation still rising, Americans may want to start planning their holiday shopping earlier than usual this year. But, buyers beware! This year shoppers should expect longer shipping times, fewer items on the shelves, and less discounts. We speak with FOX Business Correspondent Lydia Hu about the supply chain issues we're seeing and if we'll see inflation go down soon. We also speak with Melissa McCollum, owner of Learning Express Toys in Birmingham Alabama on if her store has been impacted from supply chain issues and costs going up.

Co-host of Fox and Friends and host of "The Brian Kilmeade Show," Brian Kilmeade joins to remember Fox News origins when he first joined in 1996 and to review how the channel's early reporting on big events like the 2000 presidential election and the Iraq War established Fox News as a force in the television industry.Later, he discusses how he began his show on Fox News Radio, the experience of covering several presidents and their administrations and the inspiration for his new book, "The President and The Freedom Fighter."

As the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress try to come to an agreement on the stalled $3.5-trillion spending bill, one of the proposals in the Build Back Better plan is becoming quite controversial. The plan includes giving increased powers to the Internal Revenue Service to force banks to report customers' accounts with $600 and up transactions. The state of Nebraska has already said it would not back the Biden administration's plan that would give the IRS big government surveillance power over everyday American's bank accounts if it were to pass. Nebraska State Treasurer John Murante joins today to discuss why his state will not comply.

  • Why Facebook Faces An Uncertain Future
Following her unmasking, Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen testified Tuesday before a Senate committee. She told lawmakers that Facebook constantly put its profit over its users' safety and health, through the design of its algorithm to produce high engagement on the platform. Howard Kurtz, host of "MediaBUZZ" on the FOX News Channel and the Media BUZZMeter podcast,  weighs in on the big takeaways from this week's testimony and if this hearing is the one that will unite both Republicans and Democrats to finally regulate the social media site.

The U.S. will default if the debt limit is not raised or suspended before October 18, the day Treasury Secretary Yellen has warned the country will run out of cash. Republicans have already blocked efforts to raise the debt ceiling, arguing Democrats must use budget reconciliation to raise the ceiling alone. President Biden met virtually with Democrats on Monday in an attempt to ease internal fighting and negotiate a compromise on a spending plan with a smaller price tag. Chief Economist at Moody's Analytics, Mark Zandi joins to explain what the debt ceiling actually means for the country and our history of raising the debt ceiling. Later, he explains the likelihood of Democrats tackling this issue alone, the repercussions for minting a trillion-dollar coin and the expectation of a compromise from the Democratic Party.

Plus, commentary by FOX Nation host Tomi Lahren.

As the holiday season approaches again as we continue to try to get the coronavirus pandemic under control, some are asking if we will be able to celebrate and gather normally unlike last year. White House Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci came under fire for saying "it's too soon tell" whether it will be safe for Americans to gather with family members for Christmas this year during an appearance on a Sunday talk show. Fox News Medical Contributor Dr. Marty Makary joins to discuss what we can expect for the upcoming holiday season in the U.S. Dr. Makary also weighs in on the experimental COVID-19 pill by Merck that could be available by the end of the year and how it could be a game changer when it comes to treating the virus.

The U.S. military fully withdrew from Afghanistan on August 30th, 2021. However not all U.S. citizens and Afghan allies were evacuated, leaving many vulnerable as they found themselves stranded in a nation now controlled by the Taliban. In response to this dangerous situation, many veterans have taken the initiative to organize the safe return of these people from Afghanistan to America. Afghan War veteran, former U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and Co-Founder of Project Dynamo, Bryan Stern joins to break down how he chartered a flight full of Americans and allies out of Kabul, how Project Dynamo's donations made the safe return of hundreds of people possible and why his experience as a veteran and 9/11 first responder drove him to take action to make sure there was no one left behind.
