My guest this week is Jessie Dupree. Sitting down with Jessie is like a breath of fresh air, her rawness and realness is so refreshing and is sure to leave you feeling comfortable in your own skin. What an incredible she has in that. She will share part of her story of how she was brought up and how God led her through every hardship. She knew early on that God could redeem her story and bring life to other people. She also talks about grief and says, "I think it's important, to be honest with yourself when you're in the midst of grief about where you really are." I believe this is so important when it comes to grief and how to heal. So get ready to be encouraged!
My guest this week is Tamara Hildago. She and I both share a passion for health and wholeness and this week on the podcast she shares her health journey with us. What started out as a quick trip to the hospital turned into a journey to finding health. She talks about three aspects that are key for whole health, nutrition, physical and emotional health. One of my favorite things she talked about was learning to say no so that you can have margin in your life to do the things you love. If you are struggling to find freedom in how you feel overall, please listen and share with a friend!
My guest this week is Sarah Green. She is some who walks in so much grace and is such an example of a great mom. She has kids ranging from 5 to 22, so she knows what it looks like to raise a child into adulthood and can use that wisdom in her younger children. You will hear her advice and encouragement for moms. So get ready to write some things down. One of my favorite things she said, "Your parenting needs to stem from being obedient to the Lord and not from if I do [fill in the blank], everything is going to work out for my child". So good! Listen and be encouraged!
My guest this week is Kendra Wetmore. She shares her story of a head injury she received when she was 12 years old and you'll be amazed at the most unlikely way she was healed. She was so bold to step out and try new things, even if it meant more pain. I was very inspired by her story. Please listen and share with a friend!
My guest this week is Savannah Gibson. She will share her story of how God used a move from CA to TX to bring her closer to Him. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 12, shortly after moving to TX. This news along with many other trials her family faced forced her to make a decision; would she rely on God and trust his calling on her life, or would she allow the circumstances around her to bring her to defeat. You will hear how brave she was and the amazing testimony that followed because she chose to press into God. Savannah is full of wisdom and I know you will be encouraged! Listen and share with a friend.
In this bonus episode, Judy shares how God has used her testimony to help others. It's so great to see how God takes the broken parts of us and uses it for his glory. That is exactly what God is doing through Judy! Listen and share with a friend!
My guest this week is Judy Karrenbrock. She will share her story of how she tried to take her life. She was saved because of God's purposes and plans for her life. It's an inspiring story about hope and redemption. If you know someone who is suffering from depression and thoughts of suicide, I strongly encourage you to share this with your friend. May it bring hope to everyone who hears. Listen and enjoy!
My guest this week is Mindy Ward. She will share her story of a car accident she was in and the 10 years of recovery that followed. She suffered through some very difficult seasons, but through all of it, she trusted God and relied on him. She will talk about how everyone in her family grew in the Lord and became better people because of the struggles they faced. It's a beautiful story of God's ever-present hand in our lives. Listen and be encouraged!
My guest this week is Bekka Reid. She will share her story of how God brought her through a season of needing to come to the end of herself and fully rely on God. It's so encouraging to see how she pressed into God and did the hard work it took to grow. I know that all of you will be so inspired by her story and have probably found yourself here at one time. Her story is one of being faithful in the small, everyday, mundane things that take so much courage and strength to continue to do. Listen and be encouraged!
This week I share a part of my story with you. It's real, raw, and vulnerable. My hope is that it will point you to Christ and show you that freedom can be yours too! I will share how I dealt with sin since I was six years old, but didn't find freedom until I confessed to a friend. No matter who you are, we need God in our lives to overcome sin. You will hear of all the ways I tried to find freedom on my own strength and in my own plan but failed every single time. We so desperately need God to come in and show us the way to truth. I pray that my story will help light that way for you so that you can experience true freedom in your life. Listen and be encouraged, friends!
