Darin and Robert discuss the difficulties that many people have seeing God as “father.” Detoxing from religion in exchange for a God of grace and love is far easier than detoxing from our experiences we’ve had with our fathers. Many Christians prefer to view God as a majestic, untouchable ruler of the universe rather than a loving father because of the closeness that is required in the father/child relationship. There is a difference between being carried by an all powerful super hero and being carried by our father. It may not seem different because in each scenario, we’re still being carried, but apparently to God there is a huge difference. It seems that God is way more interested in creating a family then He is in creating a kingdom of god-groupies.

Darin and Robert talk about what happens in the human heart when our faith moves from believing God exists, to believing God is love and then to believing He’s your Father. Many Christians have barricaded themselves in the God is love room and have never moved on to know Him as Father. This is a part of relationship that is rarely talked about beyond people just saying “Father” when referring to God. The actual “Abba revelation” is without question, the most intimate picture of His heart for us is all the universe.

Darin and Robert talk about how the grace message does not employ “leaders” like what we are used to in organized religion. People who are on this journey do not follow after the latest evangelist and pastor who seems to know the truth. No one is being led astray because very few people are following anything other than their own hearts. When you swallow the grace and love message, you get everything you need living inside of you. The key is for each of us to trust our own heart and have confidence that so KNOW truth. It’s easier to run after a leader and have them tell you who God is but once you realize He lives within you it is imperative that you learn to trust your heart.

Darin and Aimee talk about how many of us strive to have the perfect life in order to be a good “witness for Christ.” The idea that our performance either hinders or validates the Gospel message is both unscriptural and damaging. Many people have lived in a world of shame because they don’t feel they properly represent the very message they believe in. This way of thinking leads people to disconnect and separate their hearts from others, and it encourages us to enter into a fake existence.

Darin and Aimee talk about how the truth of God has not waited for Christians to get our act together and carry it to others. The world in many ways has a deeper understanding of the truths of God than many self proclaiming Christians do today. Being connected to the “I Am” is what life is about and the moment we try to “DO,” we become instantly disconnected. Life in the Spirit is about just being. Our religion has taught us that it’s our job to expand the kingdom and further it’s purposes. That mentality is an anti-oneness mindset that makes connecting with others impossible.

Darin and Amy Ramos have a great discussion about how many of us have to learn to redefine what the presence of God really is once we leave the organized religious system. Most of us have grown up being taught that when we feel emotional and get goose bumps that means God is present. This way of thinking is spread throughout many Christian circles in America. Living in the wild can be a difficult time for many new Free Believers who feel abandoned by God because they’re unable to drum up the same emotions they got from their past group meetings. Giving up “mood theology” and believing is an essential part of finding freedom in the wild.”

So many Free Believers find themselves all alone in the revelation they’ve been given about the Heart of God. Over time it’s easy to question whether or not this loneliness in this message will ever end. People living in small towns where being a Free Believer is like being the town witch, are asking in their spirits when this will end. Is there a purpose to this alone time or will we just die having had a better revelation of the Father? Darin and Amy discuss these questions and more in this latest episode of “Into the Wild”.

Darin and Aimee talk about how Christianity has over spiritualized the subject of sex and what the repercussions of that are to the individual heart. We have linked fear with sex and the results are catastrophic. Many people are caught in a world of shame and bondage because of their perceptions of the things they’ve done. The fear of what possible damage may have been done to our spirits is way more destructive then the actual incident. It’s time we revisited this subject and brought it back down to earth.

Darin and Aimee talk about the importance of gaining revelation of people if we want to gain revelation of God. This is a radical discussion with shocking implications to us all. Darin describes the necessity for “people revelation” as being the “missing link” to Christian thinking in our generation. It is impossible to know the heart of God unless we are willing to dive into the hearts of people and know them intimately. Darin and Amy Ramos talk about the long term effect on people who are forced to live in an unnatural state for a prolonged period of time. Most of what we consider a wicked heart or sinful rebellion is nothing more than the human beings reaction to being harnessed and controlled. We live in a unique generation of Christians.
