This is a recording of a livestream on Youtube streamed on March 5th 2026. Dr. Tim Stratton and Josh Klein discuss how Christians should apply reason, logic, and sound theology to every aspect of life, including the Iranian conflict in the past week. Is it a just war? Is it a war at all? Should Christians be for it, against it, or somewhere in between? We discuss with a Christian Persian-American distantly related to the former Ayatollah!

Recently, Theologian Dr. Darrell Bock gave a seminar to church leaders and pastors on engaging the culture and cultural intelligence. Slides from his presentation were posted on social media and, at face value, the verbiage is... problematic. Dr. Tim Stratton and Josh Klein are joined by Reverend Dr. Tom Barnes to discuss why this is concerning and to break down what we can and should do about it.

Full Disclosure: None of the three were at the event, so this commentary is meant to be directed towards the public-facing verbiage that could either a) be easily misconstrued, b) be misremembered in our current culture moment by people in attendance and applied using definitions based on critical theory rather than a biblical worldview, and/or c) were taught poorly in the first place and no explanation or nuance would make it better.

How can two people watch the same video and reach completely opposite conclusions? Dr. Tim Stratton and Josh Klein explore how propaganda, bias, and libertarian free will shape our interpretation of reality. Is cultural deception the result of manipulation — or are we freely choosing what to believe? In this episode, we unpack the war for the mind and why discernment matters. Scripture warns, "Who has bewitched you?" This episode examines that biblical warning and calls Christians to pursue what is objectively true through the renewing of the mind.
