Meet Kaylee Bachmann. Diagnosed with Scleroderma, a rare, chronic condition that currently has no cure. The hardening of connective tissue disorder affects the entire body.  The leading cause of death in Scleroderma is when it attacks the lungs: Pulmonary disease. The condition literally turns the organs in the body to stone from the inside out.

In 2012, Kalee learned of her condition after a sinus surgery revealed signs of Scleroderma. Kalee was able to successfully manage the disease and halt the fibrosis in her lungs for over 5 years. She completed her degree at UCSB, began a career in finance, married the love of her life and had their first child, all while managing Scleroderma. Shortly after the birth of her son her health began to crumble and her doctor gave her the news that she had 5 months to live.  This is her story and how she did it. Lynne is a  licensed clinical social worker and has been working as a psychotherapist for over 20 years.  She was sick for years with an autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis) that she was told was incurable.A once-active life now revolved around doctor visits and endless pain and fatigue.   

Lynne saw Habin, a skilled curandero (shaman)  in a documentary and found hope. She left her life in San Francisco and went to the Peruvian Amazon and experienced a profound healing with the help of medicinal plants and Habin. Today her blood tests are all normal, and she is pain-free, symptom-free, and off ALL of her medications for four years now. 

Her practice has shifted to supporting people who have experienced spiritual breakthroughs or crises, and helping people to integrate psychedelic experiences.  Lynne's work focuses on the exploration of consciousness, and integrating parts of the self that are blocked or hidden.
