This week on the Frontline, Nathan explains the four engagements that FPM practices to make an impact on legislation. These engagements are detecting, analyzing, monitoring and intervening in legislation that may be a threat to homeschool freedoms. These actions allow us to build and organize opposition to dangerous legislation. Follow these links below to learn how each of these parts of FPM's work fit into these four methods of engagement:
Bill Tracker
How to find a bill
Life Cycle of Legislation

Advocacy From Home
This week on the Frontline, Nathan talks about how people voicing their opinions on bills changes whether they get passed into law or not, looks at Senator Scott Wilkes, article "California’s war on parents", and asks the question once again: What freedoms do we care about and are we willing to pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our secret honor to protect those freedoms as the founders did in the Declaration.
This week on the Frontline, Nathan touches on some of the Biblical philosophies and beliefs that informed the Founding Fathers in their writing of the US Declaration of Independence. These claims of independence and its accompanying responsibility can and should be mirrored in our family lives. God has created the family unit as a unique institution that brings Him glory, and learning how we can best fulfill that role as parents and children is vital to understanding our homeschool freedoms as a whole.
FPM’s Nathan Pierce discusses recent amendments to AB 1057 that make the bill worse, the increased gas tax that impacts families, and the FPM Critical Bill Tracker - a new tool for keeping bad bills straight.

SB 407 is moving rapidly through the Legislature, and we need your help to oppose this bill. This legislation will set a precedent and requirement for foster families that will force religious families out of the foster family pool entirely. Visit www.fpmca.org to find your legislator and get more information on the actions you can take to fight this bill.
Nathan Pierce discusses issues with YouTube hiding posts and goes over some legislative updates for this week and underlines the importance of taking action on three bills (AB 1057, AB 957, and SB 407) and discusses comments on staying vs. fleeing California from Senator Scott Wilk and Senator Brian Jones.
