Today I speak to Diana Winkler, fellow artist and podcast, abuse advocate on how she uses her story and experiences to help other women who have been through abuse.

She was really vulnerable with us and shed some light on some hard truth, how that we as a church have unknowingly condoned or allowed some of the abuse that takes place.

This is part two of her interview and she tells the tale of how she healed and is now a source of healing to others.

She also highlights the characteristics of a healthy church and the difference between churches that enable abusers and healthy churches that don't.

Diana Winkler is a singer, songwriter, speaker and abuse advocate. She served as a missionary, planting churches for 13 years, while enduring abuse that was enabled by the church. 10 years ago, she started her ministry, DSW Ministries. She uses her music and mentoring to help survivors in the church heal from domestic violence, abuse, and trauma. She is the host of The Wounds of the Faithful Podcast and is a certified facilitator for Mending the Soul small groups. Diana is passionate about helping victims discover that, not only can you survive, but you can be victorious!
