The Full Spin Club

This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to Lonerism by Tame Impala. This is one of the most recognizable artists and albums of the 2010's and it stands the test of time. My guest this episode was Billy DeVore! A stand up comedian and Podcast Host of The New Nasty Boys. This is one of his favorite albums of all time and he was happy to join the club to have a chat about it. This album is had just as many bangers as I remember it having when it came out.. but boy does The Weeknd have some codependency issues... My guest this episode was Comedian and Podcaster Ossia Dwyer! She was so fun to talk with and had plenty of opinions about this record. This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to Blink 182's Self Titled Album. This album is arguably their magnum opus. The most they've ever pushed themselves and the deepest they've dug. My guest was Comedian and one of the proprietors of Commonwealth Sanctuary (Northern Kentucky's *only* comedy club) Shawn Braley! He is a big Blink fan like myself and we had plenty to talk about. This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to Rodeo by Travis Scott. This album is larger than life. It is as big sounding as Travis Scott became after it's release. My guest was Comedian, Musician, Media Connoisseur, and fellow over-thinker Tyler Jones! He is a big music nerd like me and we had plenty to talk about and dive into on the journey of unpacking this massive album. Give it a spin and enjoy!

This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to CTRL by (Queen) SZA. This album is immaculate. Damn near perfect. My guest was Comedian Rashika Jaipuriar! She is admittedly not a music nerd but loved the challenge of listening more intentionally to the album. She did a great job understanding the assignment and brought up a few points I hadn't even thought of. Great conversation had by all. That's the beauty of the club. This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to Flower Boy by Tyler, the Creator. My guest Kent Heckel is an Artist and Youtube guru with alll of the thoughts on art and creativity which made this album perfect for him! He did find my roasts questionable though lol.

This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to The Wall by Pink Floyd. My guest Karl Spaeth is a stand up comedian and musician himself and we had no trouble taking this album down a peg. Apologies if you're a huge fan of The Wall.. but at the same time... maybe keep digging deeper... 🤷🏻‍♂️.

This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to Around the Fur by Deftones. Zach Wycuff is a clean stand up comedian who's vibe is the utter opposite of Deftones. Making him listen to this record is my magnum opus. Enjoy! Cause he didn't... so someone should.

This week on the Full Spin Club we listened to 1989 (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift. The Re-recording of her classic pop album dissected by her core audience- white men who prefer rock music.
