It's Gamepass week, and we got some robits to talk about! Also, a lot of news, because as it turns out stuff keeps happening out there. Crazy! Just like those hopefully new taxis Sega is cooking up.

An episode of our videogame podcast devoted entirely to talking about videogames? Say it aint so! Today we've got everybody playing show-and-tell with games from the past couple of weeks. Andrew brings us Tunic, the long under development foxy Zelda that is more than it seems. Daniel is dash-boosting around the battlefield in Gundam EVOLUTION, a mechanized hero shooter, Dean gets creepy with Weird West, the isometric immersive sim the world has been waiting decades for, and Tim gets suitably sp0o0o0o0oky with Ghostwire Tokyo!

This week, we share our thoughts on Transformers: Battlegrounds, a licensed X-Com-alike that might just be more than meets the eye. Super writer Brandon Sanderson has a pitch for Bandai-Namco, FromSoft has an old game use vanishing-jitsu, Hyper Light brightens the horizon, E3 is dead again, and we go back to Monkey Island.... again!

Welcome to a particularly haunted episode of the show. Andrew's internet exploded part way in, and we had to just deal with contacting him from the great beyond. Sorry about that! It sure didn't stop us from talking about the gaping void left in our hearts from the sudden and shocking disappearance of everyone's favourite videogame: Fast & Furious: Crossroads. Sony also announced their version of Gamepass I guess, but honestly, if it won't have my favourite version of my favourite family on it, why even bother?

Boy, sure was a hot week of news, huh? But before we get into all of that mess, Humans Fall Flat in our Gamepass Gameclub discussion. What is the deal with soft, wiggly, jiggly, floppy, human bodies? And what would it take for one of these physics puzzlers to really grab us in their gooey arms? Learn alongside us that The Witcher will in fact be continuing to get video games, various Nintendo-based nonsense updates, old hands start new studios, and the reality of working in games continuing to be a horror show.

We finally (?) finished (??) Elden Ring, probably for real this time (lolno), get our now weekly Babylons Fall Update, and pick our next GamePass adventure, so get your bones acoustically sound because it's FUNCAST Time, again!

We did it! Almost all of us finished Elden Ring! It's a big game, and we do spend another very decent chunk of the show talking some more about it. But before that, we got modern PS2 B-Game Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin to wonder at, a very short State of Play, thinkin' bout them Tokyo Ghostwires, and Tim, oh brave, foolish Tim, took Babylons Fall, so we didn't have to.

Andrew, Daniel, and Dean share thoughts from our continued adventures in the Lands Between. We also discuss our Gamepass Gameclub game: Hellblade - Senua's Sacrifice, a game that holds up surprisingly well despite coming out four hundred years ago.
