Still on the high seas, and continuing with #TFP's ROAD WARRIOR SESSIONS, Dean sits down with the resident host of his shows at sea, The Teddy Bear of Comedy, Milwaukee's own James Ervin Berry. James shares the story of how divine intervention helped direct him to finding his calling as a comedian and how he quit pursuing his dream, only to have another spiritual epiphany which he fortunately paid attention to. James then enlightens Dean on his method on approaching the business aspect of Comedy and his intention to perform in a wide range of venues to maintain his universal appeal. The two then continue the discussion Dean began last week with Pete Correale about comics critiquing Kev (Hart) for using a cadre of writers as opposed to strictly self written material and James' perspective is an interesting opinion in favor of utilizing, and employing a team of writers/friends. While on the high seas, Dean sits down with comedian/co-headliner & good buddy, Pete Correale to reminisce about when they first began gigging on NYC's comedy scene. First Pete walks us through the process of writing his own sitcom and what having a network sitcom deal truly entails. Then he takes Dean down memory lane and shares some of his favorite stories that were born out of the hallowed ground of Greenwich Village, NYC that was The Boston Comedy Club. From smoking with the "HALF BAKED" duo of Dave Chappelle & Jim Breuer to having to do "Black Night" at the club as a New Jack. They also discuss a current popular topic regarding stand up comedy: Comedy purists that will only perform their own material vs. comics who employ a team of writers and both vets give their individual perspectives on the subject. It's been a while since Dean has had a guest on the show, so this week he decided to expand beyond the Living Room with this first of many new ROAD WARRIOR SESSIONS. We Still in The Building, son!

After making a surprise appearance in Frank Caliendo's well received "30 For 30" spoof, "UNDER THE HOODIE" which aired on ESPN during Super Bowl Sunday, Dean discloses how he and Caliendo first met reminded him of Deniro & Pacino meeting in the film, "HEAT" and how he got involved with one of Frank's already classic spoofs. Dean’s in a silly mood as he prepares to go back on the road and discusses Battle Rap, being too lazy to learn song lyrics and the “LITTLE RASCALS”. He then talks about tv shows based on the entertainment industry, a’la Ricky Gervais’ “EXTRAS” and Lisa Kudrow’s “THE COMEBACK”. Afterwards, he reflects on being one of the few Black cast members (approximately 17 in total) in SNL’s entire 40 year history and explains with some disappointment how he was recently invited to the SNL 40th Anniversary Special but had to make the tough decision to pass because he was already contracted and couldn’t cancel a previously booked engagement. Sucks, but as he learned in Boot Camp, You gotta Suck it up and drive on! Get over ya'self people! Life goes on! The mood gets lightened as he talks about the importance of Jay-Z’s Classic “Reasonable Doubt” and how it compares to. what many consider his magnum opus, “The Black Album”. Dean was all set to drop a new FuthaMuckin’ episode on y’all FuthaMuckin’ Fams until he was contacted by his FuthaMuckin’ airline via text and informed that he was stuck in Denver, Colorado. Now, Denver is a beautiful city, but a bruh wants to get HOME! So, instead of wallowing in self pity, he did what any talented artist would do and turned his frustration into art by recording an even newer FuthaMuckin’ episode discussing his frustration with cancellations as well as giving a detailed timeline on a comedians journey from packing to finally checking into one’s hotel room. Dean flies solo as he prepares for his upcoming date at the Denver Improv and dishes about the protocol on pre-gaming for road gigs and maneuvering press to promote shows. He also shares his opinion on "SELMA" and other films getting snubbed by the Oscars while at the same time reflecting on Dick Gregory's involvement in the Civil Rights Movement, Mr. Gregory's importance in the "PROVERBIAL" history of comedy and MLK Day. Plus, one helluva 3 minutes of a football game and new Bruce Lee'isms to let you know "We In The Building, son!"

For a brief moment the sexy voice returns as Dean salutes his comedy buddies from TBS's "SULLIVAN & SONS" before discussing choosing movies to watch on long flights, reflecting on Yasiin Bey's (fka Mos Def) artistry, and Keira Knightley & the art of Duck face. He shares his views on "Honorable Mention Black Award Shows" that recognize actors overlooked at mainstream award shows, actors letting go of lost roles, Wounded Warriors in the military and more of D'Angelo's new album, 15 years later.

Dean returns from Al Udeid Air Force Base overseas to share his New Years Eve adventures with DJ Skribble & the band, DIRTY WORD and how brother's don't get attacked by dogs for recreation. He reminisces on protocol he learned back during the Def Comedy Jam era, performing at outdoor shows as well as what he's learned from touring the Middle East, and the woes of traveling on the road. In Dean's final episode of 2014 his clone reflects on this years successes & yaps about writing his sitcom, New Years with The Black Eyed Peas (or solo "PEA", as it were), and accepting Black "ANNIE". He then discusses getting cut out of "SPIDERMAN 2", getting cast again in "SPIDERMAN 3" and we finally get to hear Dean's adventure with Tony Rock in Orlando which ends with Rock playing chicken with a freight train.
