What happens when organisations rush into AI before putting the right foundations in place?

In Episode 28 of the Future of Learning Podcast, Andy Howie speaks with Dr Tara Robertson Moore, an L&D leader with more than 15 years of experience across government, technology, finance and manufacturing. Her PhD research focused on diffusion of innovation theory, exploring why organisations actually adopt, resist or stall on new learning technologies.

They discuss why governance and guardrails need to come before rollout, what "human in the loop" actually means in practice, why employees must take ownership of AI-generated work, and whether organisations risk falling behind by being too cautious.
