  • Interview w/ Marvin Wilson Author Beware of the Devil's Hug
Marvin D. Wilson has many rich life experiences, from Hippie Rock, Roll musician, to nightclub entertainer, to Zen student, and then ordained Buddhist minister.  He was a carpenter, a small business owner, a network marketer, a sales trainer, a skilled trade’s instructor and adult education teacher, a public speaker and motivational coach, and now in his chosen “golden years” career, a writer and multi-published author with the self-proclaimed, “audacity to write novels.” He is also a professional editor, on staff with All Things That Matter Press and taking freelance projects as well.
Wilsondescribes his spiritual path as one who is a non-religious, dogma-free, maverick spiritualist Christian, with a strong bent toward Zen, Taoism, and the Law of Attraction, and who believes in the Oneness of all creation and all paths leading to re-awakening to the One. He is the proud father of three grown children and seven (and counting) grandchildren, and enjoys organic gardening as well as listening to, writing, performing and recording music—when not writing, travelling, and marketing his books.
Marvin writes primarily in the spiritual/inspirational genre, but likes to pen “cross-over” novels that appeal to a wide audience. His books are uplifting, sometimes weighty, oftentimes humorous, abidingly thought provoking, meant to instil and create passion and emotion, more than occasionally provocative to the point of controversial, and always “tell it like it is”, real world, no punches pulled writing. He likes to deliver spiritual messages in a non-preachy, often irreverent, sometimes sexy and ribald way, through the medium of an entertaining story.

  • Interview w/ Featured Artist of The Week, URL Musik Group
URL Music Group is a relatively new label currently based out of Virginia Beach, VA. The label collectively has less than 2 years on the VA underground scene, but in that crucial start up time, URLMG has steadily been creating a brand and name which represents in the most simplistic way to put it, “REAL”. CEO and partial owner Flaco Yle has partnered with fellow artist and partial owner Besus to construct what they wish one day to become a music entertainment entity like no other.
Even with rough beginnings and daily obstacles the label continues to progress and make crucial connections in the music entertainment industry as well as continue to craft its very own branding in music. Besus and Mel both recently released their own respective mixtapes under the label entitled “VAmos” and “Far From Nothing” both of which can be downloaded from
www.datpiff.com or the download link off the label’s website www.urlmusik.com.

  • Featured Artist of The Week, N.B.H
In the fall of 2007, two young men known as Young Russell and Young Cease combined their shared knowledge of productive business, passion for the hip-hop/rap game and hustling, by deciding to form the duo now known as N.B.H (Natural Born Hustlers).  Belton, South Carolina or "B-town," as some would call it was the city that birthed and harbored the hip-hop/rap duos roots as well as talent(s). The deal was sealed after recognizing the “best of both worlds,” could be a good benefit for each partener's career. Both young men were able to prophesize a profit naturally and each had a hustler’s mentality; get in, get out and greatly accomplish any challenge presented.  Although the city of Belton, South Carolina is often over-looked and unknown to many, the fans of the hip-hop/rap group show enough love and support to cover the entire globe.      To further define the musical influences and chosen lifestyle, would be to acknowledge that these two young men are uniquely focused on making it a mission of making it known that they are here and are not going anywhere. For years, they have dedicated time and countless hours to perfecting their passion for their art.

  • Raymond Goode Author of "Traces of You/Road to Oprah"
Raymond dedicated 2 years of his young life to the public by serving the state of Virginia in the Bon Air Juvenile Corrections Center in Bon Air, Virginia. This background in service and interactions with troubled youth prompted his transition to qualified mental health professional, serving multiple organizations in a variety of positions so that he could teach youth to “believe” so that “they will achieve”. The most recent step of his dedicated journey has led him to become an author.
Raymond’s earliest writings consisted of love letters as well as an autobiographical analysis of his then relationship. With any writer, the development of one’s work is dependent upon age, life experiences, and maturity. From writing love notes in crayon during his early years of “puppy love” to composing a journal during a recent bout with depression, writing has always been his outlet to share his ideas with the world. To him, writing fulfills all of the emotional support of lover and a friend.
Through a life long relationship of growth and exploration and a journey through the medium of love letters, songs, poetry, monologues, skits, and short stories, he has arrived at this phase of his journey, the love story. Now he writes to share the knowledge gained from this journey with the world, revealing traces of himself along the way.
Described by those closest to him as chameleon due to his ability to adapt and change, Raymond is dedicated to giving all of himself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to the reader. In 2010 he eschewed all of his worldly possessions, becoming homeless, in order to become a slave to his art, his passion, his muse so that he may produce his best work. Above all, he is an idealist, in love with love.
