The Garden Faithful: A show about the New York Rangers

First, on the premier episode of The Garden Faithful, Arthur Staple talks about the Rangers going 1-2 to close out their January schedule, blowing 2-0 leads in each of their last 3 games, how Adam Fox’s absence due to injury impacts the team’s already rough 5-on-5 play, Braden Schneider making the most of his opportunity to slot into Fox’s spot next to Ryan Lindgren, Alexis Lafrenière and Barclay Goodrow bouncing around the lineup a bit because of Kaapo Kakko’s injury, and more.

Then, Arthur breaks down some of the trade possibilities, and the salary cap situation, GM Chris Drury could be looking at heading into the March 21 trade deadline, including defensemen Jakob Chychrun, Ben Chiarot, Calvin de Haan, and Mark Giordano, and forwards Artturi Lehkonen, Tomas Hertl, Reilly Smith, Phil Kessel, Claude Giroux, and JT Miller.

Plus, Arthur and TGF producer Chris Flannery give their thoughts on Henrik Lundqvist Retirement Night and discuss what The King meant to the Rangers as the face of the franchise and the greatest goalie in team history.
