In July of 2016, colleagues of senior engineer Cui YaJie began to worry after she had failed to show up to work for several days. After lodging a police report, investigations would reveal a messy tryst borne in the shadows. One that involved a married man named Leslie Khoo, and one that would result in a tragic ending amidst Singapore's Gardens By The Bay.
