All of us have hopes and dreams for life. But often we lose sight of what is truly import and expend our energy on things that won’t last. We end up with the dream home, the ideal job and an overwhelming feeling of absolute emptiness. Jesus taught us there’s so much more to life. This series will encourage you and challenge the way you think about generosity and living a full, blessed life.

To be born again is to get a new hope, a whole new character, a whole new identity, a whole new foundation for everything. This week we learned how the Christian hope gives us an entirely new way to live.

It is best for a child not just to be born into the world in general, but to be born into a family. The Bible tells us that new birth creates a family. You are not born again into just a kind of individual state of peace and inner calm and comfort. The new birth creates a new community. It puts you into a community with all the other people who’ve been through the same experience. We are healed into community!

To be born again means not that you just turn over a new leaf or you just change in one area of your life. It means every part of your life becomes new. It means a revolution in every part of your life. To be born again means you become new in your mind, in your heart, and in your behavior.
