The repentance necessary to enter into God’s world is not merely remorse

over bad actions, it is much deeper. The changed thinking that Jesus is calling for is a change from seeing sin as behavioral to seeing it as a relational problem between oneself and God. Sin is independence from our Creator.

Sometimes being led by the Spirit takes us beyond our comfort zones. But if we walk in obedience, and believe we are who God says we are; we can stand firm in the trials, come out of the desert in the power of the Spirit, and do what we have been called to do.

Seeing God: When God enables us by His Spirit to apprehend with the eyes of our heart His character, His ways and His presence as revealed in His Word.

Have you been blessed by the Father's voice into adulthood? Have you heard him tell you, “You are my son or daughter whom I love, with you I am well pleased”? Are you still trying to receive the approval of your mother or father which they have not given? Self-worth ultimately comes because we have heard the author of all Fatherhood affirm our identities as men and women of God. He is waiting to say it to you. If Jesus needed this experience then how much more do we?
