  • 1 - Godzilla 1954

That’s one big honkin’ lizard! In this inaugural episode, Sam and Raymond watch their first movie in the Godzilla franchise: Gojira (1954). They recap the film, wrestle with the existential weight of how much critical adoration and analysis has already been heaped on it, choose their favorite background actor, and get into the nitty-gritty with some trivia surrounding this legendary work’s production. Also, Sam briefly plays mayor of a coastal town which will soon be the site of The Big G’s next rampage.
