MX. Macabre, Pat, and (kinda) Adam got to check out the DC animated series Justice League Action. Being fans of the prior animated efforts from DC, they were anticipating either good things or tragic, childhood-ruining catastrophe. Truthfuly it could have gone either way! The series features the adventures of rotating members of the Justice League as they fight various supervillains and other threats to Earth. Including members of both the magic and cosmic realms, this series takes a widespread and personal approach than it's predecessors.

Marvels announcement of following up their "Spiderverse" story with a "Venomverse" sparks a discussion about expanded universes and crossovers. At some point we dissect the suck-job that Scooby-Doo eventually became. I don't know HOW that came up...

JM and Pat took an excursion through the Hellboy universe with Lobster Johnson:The Pirates Ghost. This bit pf parallel fiction sets a side character into the forefront with surprisingly unscrupulous heroes and gritty action with a noir feel. The New York Harbor Patrol are in over their heads when a ghostly pirate ship appears on the Hudson River, and the Lobster’s hunt for a major mob boss may have something to do with it. A missing reporter might be connected to the ship and Lobster's search comes to an explosive battle on deck!

Despite obnoxious and repetitive load times, Jonny had really positive things to say about this game that we almost didn't get! Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs is a tactical RPG set in a cheerful fantasy world full of weirdness and wonder. Assemble your party, go adventuring, manage your kingdom, make new friends, and defeat your opponents in challenging turn-based combat. Will you defeat all the rats, bandits, monsters, and debt collectors ? Or will your ruined kingdom fall into an even WORSE ruin? If you fail it will be the world’s first ruined ruin. Like a double-decker ruining, deserving of ridicule from lesser ruins, aka the ULTIMATE insult!

Pat and Shayna's review of the embattled, somewhat controversial, and eventually lauded Wonder Woman was 2-parts objective assessment, and 1-part fangasm. They tried hard not to keep their elation under wraps... TRIED. Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. We all grew up with Baywatch, but only Pat was game to see the new motion Picture Starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron. His reaction actually took the whole crew by surprise. It's the story of Matt Brody, a former Olympic swimmer who wants to join an elite team of lifeguards led by the hulking Mitch Buchannon. Brody thinks he's a shoo-in, but his casual attitude starts to instantly rub Mitch the wrong way. When drugs and a shady resort owner pose a threat to the bay, Mitch and Matt must put their differences aside to spring into action and save the day.

During a discussion about Baywatch we manage to stop gushing over Dwayne Johnson for a few minutes and actually get into a serious (semi-serious) debate about the ridiculousness of the body-shaping routines actors put themselves through and the consequences to the image they present. Not to mention their own bodies.

We were all fans of Sir Roger George Moore, the knighted English actor. His passing effected us all and here we remember him and some of his work. Moore is best known for having played secret agent James Bond in seven feature films from 1973 to 1985. He also played Simon Templar in the television series The Saint from 1962 to 1969.
