Charlotte McDuffie, the wife of legendary comics writer Dwayne McDuffie wants to ensure his legacy. Dwayne McDuffie was an American comic and tv writer, known for creating the animated series Static Shock, writing and producing the animated shows Justice League Unlimited and Ben 10, and co-founding the pioneering minority-owned-and-operated company Milestone Media. He passed in 2011 and several awards and foundations have since come about under his name. His widow Charlotte has launched a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe to start "The Dwayne McDuffie Fund." Rather than promote an initiative or person, the Fund's purpose would be to supplement costs to maintain the OTHER initiatives in McDuffie's name, allowing them to self-sustain. John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth - a freckle-faced son of Ohio who was hailed as a national hero and a symbol of the space age, has died at 95. In 1959, the "Mercury Seven" group of military test pilots selected to be the first astronauts. Then in 1962, he flew the 'Friendship 7' mission and became the first American to orbit the Earth. Glenn was the last surviving member of the original Mercury crew. He would later have a long political career in the United States Senate, and made history again in 1998, flying aboard the shuttle Discovery and becoming the oldest person in space at age 77. We remember Senator Glenn not just for his service, but as an inspiration to all fields of space science over the years.

Former actress Susan Olsen, the Actress who played Cindy on the "Brady Bunch" is fired after an online spat with gay actor becomes hatespeech. Acord-Whiting criticized Olsen after he was a guest on her LA Talk Radio show, “Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics.” During the show, Olsen made comments such as being a liberal and a patriot are mutually exclusive; Hillary is causing the protests & hate crimes; the Koran is a political tract; etc. that offended Acord-Whiting. After the show, he took to Facebook to accuse Olsen of spreading "outrageous misinformation." writing, "It is wildly irresponsible for LA Talk Radio to allow a Trump fanatic to co-host one of their programs... I think LA Talk Radio needs to give 'Cindy Brady' her walking papers... Susan Olsen spreads outrageous misinformation & it is dangerous and unprofessional." Olsen allegedly sent him a reply on Facebook, which Acord-Whiting then screen-shotted and shared, LA Talk Radio announced immediately afterward that Olsen had been fired.
