  • Geek Down 11-3-20 - Borat 2, Blood of Zeus, Kingdom Hearts, Mad Streets
Things are about to get really real when the Netflix anime "Blood of Zeus" gets us mythologically methodical. And the new "Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory" on Nintendo Switch, we talk about it... all I'm gonna say about that. Though the physics-based fighting game Mad Streets warrants a few more words, WHAT, THE, and FISTICUFFS. Oh yeah, and we also discuss the new "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" on Amazon Video Xp

  • Geek Down 10-27-20 - Tenet, Helstrom, Fearless Dawn meets Hellboy
Just when you thought it was safe to step foot outside you get demonic satan-spawn with killer abs, gun-toting hellions slinging breakfast foods, and time-traveling metrosexuals punching you in the face! Backwards! And upside down! Wearing a funny hat, probably! ...This description may have got away from me. Still, it's a killer episode. We talk Chrostopher Nolan's opus "Tenet," the Hulu/Marvel series "Helstrom," and the comic "Fearless Dawn meets Hellboy."

  • Geek Down 10-20-20 - Vampires vs. The Bronx, Impossible Space, Neighbors Back From Hell, Hoops
Don't mess with the BX... wait, you got fangs and can fly? Okay, maybe just mess with a couple of blocks and a Bodega. "Vampires vs. The Bronx" sees the bloodsuckers in a whole different venue. "Impossible Space" might be the quick action, smooth animation, time-waster mobile game we've always wanted! And "Hoops"... the less said about Hoops, the better. But this IS a review podcast, so...

  • Wrestledown 008: YOSHI-HASHI WINS (sometime)
Dennis is BACK on the Wrestedown after prolonged contract negotiations. We're back at it, talking the WWE Draft, Stardom's big Yokohoma Show, and the G1 Climax! We as wrestling fans aren't legally allowed to be tired of the G1 until the wrestlers are dead exhausted! Does Yoshi-Hashi win? Sometime!

  • Geek Down 10-13-20 - Enola Holmes, Rogue Company, Utopia on Amazon Video
Millie Bobby Brown carries on the Holmes legacy in the coming-of-age detective period film "Enola Holmes." Meanwhile, 'Utopia" on Amazon Video shows legacies aren't always a positive, in this worst-case-scenario conspiracy drama (or... dark-dramedy, maybe?). And the team-based TPS "Rogue Company" takes some new chances and gets messy with it's multiplayer.

  • Geek Down 10-6-20 - Get Duked, Not for Broadcast, Blackwood the Mourning
Pat shared a bit of his nightmare with the class, inflicting TinyBuild's game "Not For Broadcast" on Manda and Shayna. The crew also got a look at the lighter side of murderous occult institutions in, "Blackwood: The Mourning" -- the TPD followup to the acclaimed comic "Blackwood." And on a surprising note, the film "Get Duked" made the desolate highlands of the UK surprisingly funky and hilarious.
