Apple's being heavily criticized as it’s new GIF keyboard keeps pulling up sexy My Little Ponies and hardcore porn. When Apple released iOS 10 to the public, it introduced a new iMessage app with the built-in ability to search GIFs. It has also received negative press due to it's shoddy filters repeatedly returning My Little Pony porn and live-action fellatio. The GIF system works by doing an image search of popular animated image databases, but failed to realize that simply blocking words like "boobs" and "penis" wouldn't be enough to prevent the majority of available porn even WITH safesearch activated. Apple has since banned more obtuse, less directly "porny" terms such as "butt" and "huge" and alleges they'll practice more nuanced filtering of its GIF library.

They will provide alumnae of the AFI Conservatory Directing Workshop for Women the opportunity to direct short films based on the studio’s film franchises. The top filmmakers will have the opportunity to make their concept into a short film. We assess this from both a filmmaker AND a minority perspective (with Ryan present ONLY as an observer)
