People grew up watching Han Solo in the 1980s, and yet somehow we're going to see a younger version of him in 2018.  The Solo trailer reactions kick-off our 1980s-themed show.  A movie starring Han Solo isn't the only thing attempting a comeback. Kenneth Johnson is working on a movie trilogy based on the classic V series.  The podcast is also loaded with flashbacks about Goonies, Bill and Ted, Spaceballs, The A-Team, Predator, Star Trek TNG, The Last Starfighter and more.

So, we need to have a podcast about it. Don't worry, we also talk about vampires in Law & Order and cardboard boxes that make great video games! However, the geeks have to weather it all effectively because Darth Taxus is going to reward The Geek Supreme and penalize the losers.

You'll hear how everyone is feeling about The Last Jedi.  Also, the DCEU is making more changes behind the scenes, all while Lindsay Lohan starts her online campaign to be Batgirl.  Can either of those things turn into anything good...or disastrous?  The Orville has been renewed for another season, and some are hearing rumors about a Family Guy crossover. Jodie Foster has thrown around her ideas about comic book movies, and we'll respond to those.

In our last episode of 2017, we talk about The Last Jedi. Join us as we discuss all things Episode 8, including new characters, new force powers, humor scenes, character deaths, little porgs, Rey's parents and more.  We'll also fit The Last Jedi into our Star Wars rankings and talk about what may or may not happen in Episode 9.  Along the way, each contestant will be tempted by the dark side.  Event though we won't serve green milk or roasted porg, we would be honored if you would join us.

People freaked when Daisy Ridley talked about being done after Episode 9.  Was the panic worth it, or was it an overreaction?  The first word spoken in The Last Jedi has been revealed, and we try to finish the sentence.  Did you know someone is trying to pick up girls on social media by claiming to be Chris Pratt?  We'll discuss the Avengers Infinity War trailer and the controversy surrounding Star Wars Battlefront 2 loot crates.  We'll also predict Rotten Tomatoes scores for The Last Jedi.

Justice League is out, and we finally get to see who made the best Rotten Tomatoes prediction. However, was the final result an injustice to the Justice League? What does this all mean for the future of the DCEU? We'll discuss. Mark Hamill doesn't want people to spoil The Last Jedi, so Darth Taxus asks everyone to come up with the worst possible things that could happen in the movie. As everyone knows, when Episode 8 is discussed, there is a good chance the word PORG will come up.

It's our first LUCKY LISTENER episode, and that means our contestants will be playing for three listeners this week. We discuss the second season of Stranger Things and play a Geekword game themed around the series. We'll also review Thor Ragnarok and get quizzed on some trivia. We'll react to the Justice League reviews, plus the news about more Star Wars.
