Since we are living our very own Bottle Episode we wanted to explore the various episodes involving bottle episodes, which are episodes of TV that take place in one location. Much like all of homes that we just can't seem to get around nowadays. We discuss episodes from tv shows such as: Brooklyn 99, Friends, Bojack Horseman, and more. Let's make something fun of Quarantine Waffles!
We’re joined by Gretchen of the Fandomentals to talk about the last movie in the original trilogy. We talk about the metal bikini and how Leia dealt with it, what it means for women in the Star Wars fandom and how Leia was known as the Hutt slayer later on. And we have some questions like were the cute Ewoks actually cannibals? Does Vader know Leia is his daughter? How have the comics effected our view of Vader in this movie? Let’s jump to light speed.
In honor our new spin off show Straight Out of Home Video, where we review all the direct to home video Disney movies we're talking about Disney Villains! We love to hate them! But why? What goes into making the perfect villain.
The Geeky Waffle (Candace and Bri) is joined by our guest Ty from WTForce to discuss Candace’s favorite movie ever, The Empire Strikes Back. We discuss everything from the underrated friendship of Han and Luke and how Han talks like a scoundrel but ends up walking the walk of a hero to how the amazing Carrie Fisher edited her own lines and helped develop the character of Leia. Of course, we gab about why exactly Empire Strikes Back is the best movie and really get into the whole Han and Leia romance vs. the romance between Anakin and Padme; and how or if that romance was changed now knowing that Carrie and Harrison had an affair. Lastly, we consider what it would be like if Leia was trained as a Jedi instead of Luke, how and why Yoda wanted to train her and the Marvel Comics what if series: Star Wars infinity; what if Luke died on Hoth and Leia was trained. Join us as we take a drive into this movie, our passion about these characters and this particular movie could lead us to discussing it for hours - trust us.
Do you ever feel like the perfect cast has been wasted in a terrible movie? Margot Robbie is Harley Quinn however that did not stop Suicide Squad from being a bomb. We talk about perfect casting in not so perfect movies.

Does anyone speak Wookie? We watched the Star Wars Holiday Special and found out why George Lucas wanted all the copies destroyed. We talk all about Leia singing, Mark Hamil’s makeup and of course Boba Fett’s first Star Wars appearance.
We are joined by Lauren and Andrea of The GALactic Podcast as we dive into discussing the first movie of the original Star Wars trilogy. We take a look back when we first saw the movie and how it shaped our love for the Star Wars franchise. During the episode we gab about how Leia is a badass and how Rogue One solidifies that fact even more so. We also discuss how the books add to Leia’s character, showing us a further look into her character development. We ponder why and how Obi-wan and Luke kept their last name, the changes and importance of editing the film, and the real question on everyone’s minds that watched the prequels, how in the universe does Obi-Wan not remember the droids? Especially R2-D2.
*Note the book Candace mentions isn't Another Point of View, it's Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View.
As Harvey Dent said in The Dark Knight: “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” In this week episodes we talk about the time fictional heroes turn into villains. From Supernatural to Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures, there are so many turns with these stories.
It's time to discuss this epic movie. Does it make A New Hope better or worse? How does it change our view of the rebellion? Bri and Candace are joined by Alice of the Rogue Fun podcast and Hope of Jaig Eyes and Jedi to discuss it all, including Diego Luna's love of Jabba the Hutt.
We talk about all the production woes and casting issues, as well the potential for the story to continue (with or without Han).
Bri and Candace are joined by Kristen... And there are definitely some mixed feelings about this movie.
